Pandaria Silithids ain't supose to be exotic? / Also a general pvp question.

Just got myself a Bornix the Burrower, since I really love the color and the type of the pet, but that's the problem.
I'm a MM Hunter. With a silithid pet. Ain't them supose to be exotic? I'm afraid this is classified as exploit, and I'll get banhammer'd in the face.
Would love lo hear answers.

Now for the pvp question, what happened to resi? In previous expansions it was that really important thing, now... only the trinkets give it, and the rest "pvp power".
What's this "pvp power", really. Why is it so important to the point of taking out resi?

Haven't played enough MoP to be sure but, when I played my WotLK draenei hunter, there were some slithids in bloodmyst isle who weren't exotics...

Dunno about the silithids, but pvp power increases your healing and dmg done in a BG or in an arena. They are both reduced upon entering a pvp-area, there is a debuff for it but i can't remember it right now. MoP introduced a base resi for all lvl90 characters and it's about 70% i think.

Yes they're exotic. Its the same bug as ater striders like Glimmer being tameable by nonBMs.
Yes its an exploit.
