Sooo... Marketplace Update?

Considering the announcement of point squish (and all that stuff), will you update marketplace before that? Because marketplace update has been announced
like a week ago and yet still no new items.
I know you are probably busy with armory, but can we have a confirmed statement about marketplace update before points wipe?

Update pushed back to post-September 1st with the point refactoring.

I scheduled to do the update a while ago as I announced, but then discussions happened about a point squash and that's how it is now, so I can focus my entire attention on the armory in the meantime.

Update includes:

Point shop rework
Cata point shop additions (Increased ilvl)
MoP point shop additions (Increased ilvl)
Coin shop slight rework, with several additions (all expansions).

So we have to spend our points without marketplace update... that's disappointing :/
What am I supposed to do with my 900 points then? MoP marketplace is basically empty :/
Can we have at least Ashes of Al'ar and other mounts that are available for cata realms on mop before the wipe (just copy-paste misc, companion and quest category)?
It would not be an update but just "alignment".

Agreed. Everything in the shop right now is basically worthless, and in order to get anything good, you have to wipe away all our points that we earned over time. I think instead of wiping our points, you refund us the points after the update so we arn't being cheated out of this.

Yeah, I agree.. we should keep the points we have if its an amount that can be squished. So if you have 100 points, it would be reduced to whatever that would be equal to with this new update. I think that would make a lot more people happy than completely wiping everyone's stuff.

I agree, for MoP I mean. The other expansions actually have items in the points shop. MoP is the only one with only worthless transmog and worthless mounts. It would be nice to spend points on huge bags like on cata, patterns, glyphs, and perhaps items on every other empty catagory.

Why do you think ppl have hundreds of saved points on MoP? Not to save up for anything on there now, waiting for something good to come. We've just been waiting patiently instead of nagging.

Can you atlest add some level 90 gear in Point shop? There's nothing good to spend my points on!

I don't know for sure but I think it only applies to vote points. I've not seen anything regarding coins. c:

At least update the mounts, so we can spend points, I don't mind paying 150 or even 300 VPs for some mounts just add something!;)

In fact give me Reins of the Twilight Drake and wipe all 410 Vote Points I have atm :D

It's just for points, because the whole mechanics for them is changing.
