No you cannot transfer characters from other servers.

Merax is correct that is the stated policy. Probably because it would be too hard to identify previous information. But I think it would be nice if there was some sort of incentive for people to come from other servers that would be possible with minimal proof, or it could just be something like a bonus for new accounts that has nothing to do with other servers. Maybe new accounts get 10 free coins, or 100 free points (existing points scale), or something published to entice potentials that are weighing various servers, which might just nudge them over the edge.

TheBlitz: What I can tell you, is that here the staff is pretty good at responding to community needs, better than the last private I played at. I can also tell you that they are pushing hard on MoP development which is nice. You should consider joining us even though you cannot transfer your character (no private server will let you). Unless you are a problem maker or cheater, if you are, you won't be here long anyhow if you do join.
