    Move away from cities, you will have no problems to World PvP there.
    Guards should be dangerous, to prevent town camping.

    these guards are stronger then all other city guards do to enrage they can hit cloth up to 1k at that point making it possible why ally don't stealth here not sure if the scouts do to..

    Currently level 85 and as shown they have about 115k HP.

    As a level 80 rogue, they hit me for 10k in melee and 3k with their shoot ability.

    Well i thought that days of Hermes tiranny are over and staff is more open for dialogues and suggestions now (let me dream about it at least, i know - some one cant change). What you can say on topic? I've played on molten almost from the start, and none of those ****ing guards were broken till 2014, when Herpderp was in charge and this "fix" for guards was implemented. The most detailed bugtracker post, claiming that this fix is ****, was deleted after the winter Grand Theft Server. As for me, i see this "fix" doesnt relate to blizzlike retail expirience (prooflink in OP post), so it must be removed from WotLK realms. This is CUSTOM GAME CONTENT and it has no place here

  4. Oh poor you, you cant camp newbs and kill their quest givers, cant walk up to their faction leader and /hug him, cant kill someone minding his bussines in Gadgetzan. Every single person that goes OMG GUARD OP PLOX NERF wanted to grief low lvls and got their asses handed to them by the guard. No mercy, buff those Bluffwatchers

  5. That bug has been there for over one year now. It is pretty obvious to me that they did it on purpose since they have ignored it, and it looks like it's stupidly easy to fix.

    And yes, Obnoxious is the most friendly mod around.

  6. Guards do way too much damage on this server, yes. On retail they barely did anything to you once you were max level (in 3.3.5).

    Have you ever thought that as long as you don't break any rules - especially when you start by saying you expect it to be deleted, which is proof you realize you're doing it wrong - I won't care?

    It was tweaked to be like that, yes. Intentionally. And it's working. Meaning it is "working" as per the "intention" - or working as intended, for simplicity's sake. Call it "not Blizz-like" if you like, but don't expect that to be an argument for it to be changed. Blue stated why it was changed, and it's quite easy to understand when you consider retail guards weren't made with how high the average equipment here is in mind.

    Look, im fine with damage they dealt, even if it is bugged. But look at those screenshots - WHY THOSE GUARDS (any pvp guards in any location) ARE IMMUNE TO CROWD CONTROL EFFECTS? Working as intended too? How long should i w8 this to be fixed? How long u will delete bugtracker posts? How
    long will those double standarts about BLIZZLIKE EXPERIENCE last (WTB WOTLK TRANSMOG)?

    The point is more that single or tiny groups of people shouldn't be able to easily beat up guards. Whether they are cloth wearers or not isn't relevant. Get people to tank the guards for you if you're one, like you would for anything too hard for you to solo.

    I don't deal with development, so until someone who is confirms something I can't be sure. Incidentally, though, Blue (who even the thread creator links to) did deal with QA and Development, so him saying it is intended serves as the confirmation I (and anyone else) should need. But I guess linking a post I made almost an year ago is meant to discredit me. After all, magnets and passage of time, how do they work?

    that quote wasnt about discreditation. it was about - u've made a mistake which should be corrected. dont try to blame me on being rude and **** - 1 YEAR PASSED and those mobs are still bugged. Original bugtracker report was confirmed by devs, but was deleted. How do you think i feel about this? I know thats it is ****ing hard to fix everything on those private EMU's, but deleting posts about problem and denying the facts is just totally out of place

Why should all players turn on pvp ? 80s who dont have it on in their teritory probably dont have as gear as pay to win guys so they dont want you harrasing them, 80s who have good gear will attack you and turn on pvp in that way, anything lower than 80 will be *** raped so we are back on you trying to grief lowbies and raging cuz you cant
