Trade cancelled trying to enchant, bug?

when I put something into a trade windows with my friend to be enchanted down in the box, when he enchants it, it cancels the trade i am playing on MOP frostwolf. is this a known big, is there a way around it. seems like this would make enchanting completly useless if no workaround. I have just been giving him stuff to enchant but that doesnt work on souldbound stuff.

I thought enchanters could use enchanting velum to scroll an enchant for later use in pandaria too? have him look at the enchanting supplies vendor and buy some scrolls
