Prot Paladin Solo Leveling - Is it viable?

As I hope to make Paladin when Lordaeron comes out, I'm hoping to have both Prot & Holy as my specs. For leveling purposes, would rolling Prot straight away be a viable choice, as opposed to simply going retri all the way to 80?

Yes it is, and it should be even better than retri until level 45-50 (until retribution gets infinite mana+ instant heals/exorcisms and crusader strike).

I level as Prot pally with zero problems.

I've leveled 2 prot pallys with no issues whatsoever. You shouldn't have a problem :)

Prot is much better to lvl. You can pick more mobs and won't die that easily.
