1. Should i play on Warmane servers?

Hello everybody. I play wow since Vanilla (vanilla and TBC on offy, wotlk and cata on private servers) and i was looking for a Cata or MoP server (i'd prefer MoP).

So the question is...should i play on here?

I like more PVE than PVP and i enjoy istances even at low level (in some servers it's impossible to find a decent party because of low population).
And i don't care about bugs, as long as the game is still playable/enjoyable.

    Which server do you suggest?
Is the population that high as i can see on the website?
Will i see crowdy cities? Will i read on chat people looking for a party or just chatting?
    Is the game buggy?
    Is the community alive?

Thanks and sorry if i am in the wrong section
    Vandik

P.S. Just noticed that i wrote "shoul" instead of "should" on the title. Shame on me.

  2. Sorry to say if you like to do the old instances you will have to wait 10 or so more years for MoP to get those released (this is just my guess, unless staff can correct me on this with any sort of rough time estimate). Cata I think doesn't have any either. You may have to play wotlk, maybe someone here can tell him how many of the old ones are released there.

  3. What about the end game? Do you guys do mostly pvp or there are any working pve istances?

I think i have to change my question in: which server is less bugged and more pve oriented?

To be honest any of the realms with each expansion is both PVE and PVP but there are PVP realms also... At the moment i have played all expansions that Warmane has to offer and i liked wrath the most to be honest... I'm waiting for their huge project which is Lord 1x realm and i'm happy to play that :) I enjoyed Cata and Mop as well but Wrath never beated it :)

  5. playable? I would say cata is playable. Yeh lower lvl instances are mostly closed cuz they are still working on fixing and scripting them atm. We are expecting all that to unravel over the course of the next few months since they are working on a method to transfer these lower instances from the coming lordaeron server. Rates are x7 to compensate for the lack of working quests and lower instances open, very easily able to reach max lvl with what is given. Cata content pve is very well done imo.

Lk realms works the best as they have had it at close to perfect for a long time. MoP, I havnt played, but from what I can read, there is work going on and still in its early development stages. But all playable as shown by the server populations.

So yeh give it a try. Oh but do not expect much from dungeon finders, for lower instances, they are mostly closed. If they aren't ppl lvl wayyy too fast to even need to do them. IF they do them, they would make pre-made groups on global chat or something before joining anyways.
for cap lvl dungs, they usually just make groups before queing.

  6. Thank you, i will try WoTLK server. What about the population?

To be honest i expect at least 5000 players on wrath (it will be super popular and hyped as hell)! Prob expect a que even before peak hours :P

I'm not sure which WoTLK realm you're talking about, but speaking from experience, it's increasingly difficult to find groups to gear up before you're nearing BiS. People tend to take gear over experience or the ability to play their class. As for population, I haven't played on Deathwing and very little on Lordaeron, but Ragnaros does have populated cities and the chats are relatively busy for a private server.

As i can see on the graphic Deathwing and Ragnaros are quite similar (talking about the population) while Blackrock has less players. The exp/drop rates are the same, right? What's the difference then? Talking about the PVE, should i go for one of those?

I bet i will find more people to have fun with anyway...the other servers i have tryed before were less less less (LESS) populated. Like 400-500 ppl on peak

  10. If you're really into "old instances" and that kind of way of playing the game, I'd recommend you wait for Lordaeron (sep 25th). It'll be x1, probably the most blizzlike wotlk private server there is, and it's gonna be loaded with players. Plus, everyone'll start from 0 so no gear score whores.

  11. Jesus, probably in October i will move so i won't have any internet connection at least till December (yeah, in my country Internet Service Providers are slow as @#[§ )
    LoL

I'm downloading the client right now, i will try to play as soon as it finishes. Any suggestion about the server selection (Deathwing, Ragnaros or Blackrock)?

  12. blackrock is a pvp realm, you start off with base gear- and continue your journey from there

  13. Ragnaros seems more promising on horde side for PvE

  14. Forget about PvE on Warmane MoP. **** barely doable. I'd suggest playing either Cata or WoTLK for pve, and MoP for pvp.

  15. I wouldn't play, I mean look at the website the stupid teaser video blocking login and everything just shows you the lack of detail...
the alliance are using teleport hack/exploits nothing done player> Abidalz frostwolf
