Can i buy SM with gifted coins?

Hi, i have a question , i have some donated coins left on my account , but its not enough to buy SM, so i was wondering if i can get some gifted coins from other account that earned form trading systems , to make enough coins to buy it, or SM can only be bought with directly donated coins?
