1. Best class for a beginner to WoW.

Hi all! I'm really new to WoW and im loving it so far, but i am wondering what would be a good class to main, I think i want to be a supportive role, such as tank or Healer, but would also like to be able to do dmg. What class would be ideal?

  2. I would recommend you to go for Paladin. You could choose from all three roles on him, he´s one of the best tanks in Wotlk also decent healer and endgame gear hes one of the best dps classes. In matter of PvP holy is one of the best heals there is, with so many defensive CD´s and not hard to master, retribution got also some viable 2s and 3s comps like ret/mm and ret/mm/disc. Paladin is also pretty easy to master compare to classes like rouge, warrior, hunter.

  3. I'd go for a paladin if i were you but please dont go alliance, they already havr enough paladins.

  4. Hunter as well is very good at soloing, and fun for a newbie. I remember having loads of fun back in the day when i was clueless :D

  5. Yeah, if you're not sure about a main, alternate between a hunter and a paladin. Bolth are quite forgiving.

  6. Classes that don't require you to be experienced in order to do "well":

    In PvE:
    - Paladin
    - Hunter
    - Warrior
    - Mage

    In PvP:
    - Paladin
    - Hunter
    - Warrior

    For Leveling:
    - Paladin
    - Hunter
    - Warrior
    - Warlock

This is not to say that they are inferior to any of the other "harder" classes.

  7. In PvP:
    - Warrior

You must be joking. For the most part I agree, but playing a warrior in PVP well, requires a lot of experience. Otherwise you will be constantly zerged by the emeny team.

  8. Pleeeeeease don't chose Paladin. The server is literally littered with them. Druids are quite easy to play as well. I'd suggest that one.

  9. I have to agree, it's between Paladin and Hunter. If you're just starting out on Lordaeron, no friends, no guild, no money, no nothing, i would recommand you level a Paladin. You get a free mount at level 20 and 40, while everyone else has to pay gold for them.
Hunter is also a good choice, because after level 10, you just send your pet to attack the target and you deal damage from a safe distance.

In short , go for paladin, and when you want to try something else, try a hunter. One is melee, the other is ranged, you will never get bored.

  10. In PvP:
    - Warrior

You must be joking. For the most part I agree, but playing a warrior in PVP well, requires a lot of experience. Otherwise you will be constantly zerged by the emeny team.
Charge , Rend -> Hamstring -> Overpower -> Sweeping Strikes, Bladestorm. GG. 2hard5me

  11. Go warlock or shaman.

    Dont go paladin or warrior.

  12. Feral druid is a really easy and good leveling class/specc. and later on you can do anything. ranged or melee dps. healing or tanking.
But feral dps is maybe not the best dps specc for a beginer.

  13. ....Khmmm ... "easy PvP Hunter" :D How meny hunters u have seen top pvp ladder vs other class huh. Very hard class.

  14. Keep in mind that if roll paladin or warlock you get a free mount...

  15. ....Khmmm ... "easy PvP Hunter" :D How meny hunters u have seen top pvp ladder vs other class huh. Very hard class.
There is different types of pvp. and i doubt that a newbi is aiming to go serious arena. And Bg's are totaly different than arena and in bg's hunters are failry easy and strong. All classes takes some level of skill to play. But hunters are one of the easier if you wanna play around in bg's

But yeah for serious arena alot more skill is needed but the same goes for all classes
