Greetings!
Recently started up a rogue only, PvP guild on the new Lordaeron WoTLK server 'Stealth Ganksquad' (Horde). It has been an idea of mine to try and get something like this up and running for some time. Plus, yet to see one since I begun playing many beards ago.
The reason for this post is partly to put the guild across and potentially gain some new members. I have also made it to give some other people the idea (Alliance) of starting one.
Give us some decent opposition in Hallaa/Wintersgrasp!
So, anyone interested or wanting further information just send a /w to Apochato in game.

I would gladly have joined it, if the name was actually something decent instead of this childish "thing".
The Shattered Hand (existing lore-wise rogue guild in Orgrimmar, formed by orcs and trolls)
The Deathstalkers (existing lore-wise rogue guild in Undercity, formed by Forsaken)
SI:7 (existing lore-wise rogue guild in Stormwind, abbreviation means Stormwind Intelligence, referring to the real-life British MI:6)
You can also make up a name for an actual assassin guild, which can then take payment and literally assassinate any target. In order to do this, you can make another guild with the same name from the opposite faction so you can take contracts from BOTH factions. A rule of the guild would be to never EVER take a contract to assassinate a guildmate. Gold from the contract will be received by the guild master or officers by mail from the ones who ordered the assassination (half before, half after the kill) and then distributed after screenshots are shown that the target has been killed. Bigger payment can be made for camping and/or PvP-harassment.
These are just some ideas that come to mind as I write this...
Ideally, such a guild would be even more alluring on Cata, as you can have every guild member Xmog their gear in special guild armor (defias, t1, t2 or whatever you decide).Edited: October 28, 2015

The name is a matter of opinion lol, no need to call it childish just because you don't like it. Good idea with the assassins guild though, but not sure many people would pay gold for that haha :3 Also can be hard to catch players in a place where you can kill them.

That is a really cool idea. Not something that we are likely to do - basic world pvp, stv arena, tbc arenas, wotlk arenas etc is more our thing.
I quite like the name, I don't mind things in life/wow being 'childish'. This game is also a 12+ so I think it might be allowed, if it steers people away I'm sure I will still be able to sleep at night.

It's a matter of opinion but it's what people see next to your own name. In general people don't like paying money to get someone killed, some still do it though and the money is quite good. You can catch players easily if the guild is dual-faction - you can track them down with a same-faction scout, then kill them with 1-2 opposite-faction assassins. I've thought about such a guild for a long time, but the mentality of most PvP Rogues and the entirely different mindset needed for the setup and running of such a guild are what's putting me off.

True that the name doesn't really refer to a rogue only guild. Like seriously. It kinda look childish. I would join it if it had some cool clan names like listed above.

Well, it already exists. I've spotted several Rogue twinks from their guild. So I guess he's not planning to change it :P

I have put in a Ronin based rank system in the guild. The name will be changed, I am currently leveling another char for my main arena team.
