Wintergrasp and PvE

With release of LK are you planning to make it work retail way ?
When a faction controls Wintergrasp, bosses in Northrend will drop a Inv misc platnumdisks Stone Keeper's Shard for that faction only. These are used to buy certain PvP gear and Jewelcrafting recipes. The controlling faction will also have access to a raid instance, the Vault of Archavon, within the fortress of Wintergrasp. Like other raid instances, the vault is available in both twenty-five player and ten player versions on separate raid lockouts.

Would be good to have it that way since its the part of blizzlike and we're playing on hardcore, aye ?

I have yet to see a WotLK private server handle this 100% correctly. At the very least, I think they did say that Wintergrasp will be functioning, but I'm not sure of all the details.

They said that it gonna work. Cant find the thread though...

It shouldnt be that hard to script the battle. The bigger problem is the high number of players parcipating in the battle and the server lag which comes with it.

I asked this question in another thread and a staff member replied saying that no detail is too small for Lordaeron development. They said wintergrasp will be fully functioning.

There are private servers with WG battle working perfectly.


However on Molten WG never worked but, this is a new core so wait and watch.

It's mentioned on the front page that wintergrasp will be tested soon on the lord PTR.
