So I just read the Devlog, for those who haven't seen:
Several high priority class fixes have been implemented over the last few weeks. These fixes included exploitable spells such as ignite and item sets, as well as fixes to pet AI and raids. Now that early content preparations on Lordaeron come to an end, we have started porting of vanilla and tbc instances to other patches. Molten Core, Zul'Gurub and several 5 man dungeons will be amongst the first ports to be introduced on Cataclysm once implemented.
First off, glad to see this. It shows that Nelth isn't all forgotten but I am curious, Zul'Gurub? That raid was removed from the game in 4.0.3 and replaced with the 5 Man Heroic (which is already released on Neltharion). I'm asking this because I'm worried that the staff overlooked the fact it was removed and might try to implement it which could then seriously **** up the 5 Man we have...if it is even possible to implement it on a 4.3.4 patch anyway.

this is kinda funny, took not a day (maybe for ignite more) to fix everything, this is how it is sold to donators and community members and the best thing only because of a ****storm in the forum, otherwise nothing would have been done and the writer of a new devlog post had to be very creative to create a text out of lordearon fixxes implemented on neltharion (which is ported to every server anyway, but on neltharion it so special to become a full text in the devlog)

The thing to focus on is, it's done. It doesn't matter what had to be done to do it, or how long it took. Let's just be grateful, for once...

this is not the point
If you need just one day to fixx all critical errors, why is it not fixxed earlier?
Thats just riddicolous, we need to wait for the next ****storms for fixxing the next bugs
just wait till people get unhappy for not getting fixxes again

Who said they took one day? They would have taken weeks, I can bet you that the minute the staff gets wind of a critical bug, they start working on it. Just because the bug is around for weeks or months doesn't mean they are ignoring it, just means it takes a while to fix it. The staff are amazing with how they fix everything, but they are only human and can't fix **** in one day.
Anyway back on topic please, still waiting for a staff member.
4.3.4 core ?
what do you mean by that? the core is the same since vanilla (more or less) that's why they call it a patch and also why the backpack still has only 16 slots
the removed raids and instances should still work if the scripting is correct to my knowledge, a developer could correct me maeby..
I'm just using common sense here. Anyways, you can rescript anything to work on cata should you want it that way.
I doubt a developer will read this thread and give you an official answer..
just wait for the actual "fix"

What I meant was, as there is a pre-existing dungeon using that instance map already, would that cause errors trying to implement a second instance on to that map. Yes of course they can still implement whatever they like on any patch, i.e it's possible to implement Nax 40 if they wanted to.
I'm sure it is just a typo or something, but I would like to know.
zul'gurub raid has the same issue as original naxxrammas... there's a newer instance using the same mapID so old one can't physically exist... or better put... only one can exist at a time and everything from loot to mechanics to trash skinning(Zul'Aman mobs currently skin knothide leather, just sayin') to mining nodes/herb spawns and probably number of trash mobs around... it's a load of work and you can't just 'switch' from one to the other as a player, it would have to be done on the server side of things which would be way too much work to even consider
tl;dr we can't have both HC: ZG and ZG the raid because reasons and I expect the staff knows about it by now, if they hadn't known that when they posted the devlog

I was saying that, cause green dev was only one weekend fixxing critical bugs on catacysm, not weeks

the map isn't the problem...
they can just duplicate the coordinate id's to match a second, 3rd and so on instances should they want to
the only problem would be the world entrance which can only lead to 1 place (taxi_portals are an alternative)
so ye, just like you can have the id for both normal and heroic dungeons you can have multiple id's by settings
So say you are in party and use the world portal to ZG you get in the dungeon. You use the raid conversion option, you get into this place that looks the same but is a whole different place. Development-wise is viable, but I doubt anyone would invest the time and money into this sort of pure crap when they can just add the items in the market and work on the actual stuff that isn't working/yet available even tough it should be.

If you think it takes only one day to fix all critical bugs on entire expansion, then you should definitely inform yourself more on how programming works.

I bet Neltharion is up for more than 3 years (correct me if i am wrong), but still has gamebreaking bugs.
ATM we are waiting for them to finish fixing the brand new realm, so they can start working on CATA again, while they were unable to do similar bugfixes here for ages.
Just an example, BM pet heals you for 800 hp / tick / 3 sec when you have 150k hp... etc.
