Can you please disable gearscore addon before the server turns into a Ragnaros clone.
It's slowly started happening here with easy raids and you can do nearly all the raids in blues due to talents.
Not long before people ask 6k gs for a ICC10nm run

Not everyone wants to be in a guild or can raid during their times, me included, I jump on whenever I can to find a raid.
And when people create pugs because others have stupid gs reqs you end up with 5-6 raids going on at the same time looking for the same destination. And majority of the time noone wants to merge.

People wanting well geared players instead of poorly geared players will always be the case. The gearscore addon has very little to do with the end result of you getting declined. It just makes the process faster.

People are free to use that add-on if they like. If you disagree with their requirements, you know the options you have.
Forbidding people from playing in the way they want, when it's supported by the server and doesn't breaks any rules, isn't something that we'll be doing. If you don't like the way they play, play it your way with others who feel the same. Don't expect your way of playing to be enforced.

Exactly, even if the Addon wouldn't exicst they would just "LFM XX XX, Gearcheck at Dalaran Fountain".
At least that was the usually thing on my Server back on retail.
Gearscore gives you just a little information about the approximate Gear people got (and yes I know that few Gear pieces have less Gearscore but still are better Statswise) ..thats why people do Gearchecks in the first place.Edited: November 16, 2015

Thats wrong, cause people dont ask for well geared players, they are for bis 6k+ gs for ICC normal.. Same for TOC and even for dungs pos/fos, tho, those dungs are gap(gear) closers. That should happen and didnt have happen on retail later with ilvl.
On the other hand, if you dont have time for normal raiding guild schedule and you can't join any raiding guild, you shouldnt raid, or atleast we cant do anything bout your problem. Get a guild, or keep on trying to pug.
Well you can make ur own raids and ask for lower GS so you would be able to do 10/25 mans.

Speaking in general:
If someone has good gear and wants a smooth and fast run, he will ask for more than someone who just wants to make a gear up raid. In the end, if someone is looking for 6,2+ for a Naxxramas raid and there are people who want to join and have the required GS for it, noone is supposed to complain about it. If they couldnt find people, they would lower the req. But whatever happens, you cant enforce your wish only because you dont like what they do (which is totally legit and legal).
I know that the GS thing is gonna be ******ed at some point, but complaining about it never helped. Join a guild, find people which want to raid with you despite lower "GS", lead your own raidgroup or just drop the matter and stop raiding.

hahahaha people still dont realize that GearScore addon is now ****ed up/bugged ?, becuase of TBC items ?. This addon was made for WoTLK and now its working badly. For example rare items with 110 ilv got more gs then some 138 ilv ones..
