State of the Global Chat

Are there any plans to implement some QoL changes for the global chat on Lordaeron? Currently it is just LFM and LFG spam, which in itself is great, because it helps other people find groups in an RDF-less server, but when every single person is spamming the same message 5x the chat becomes flooded and there is quite literally no room for anything else.

I feel the simple solution would be to add a "one message per 15 seconds" type of filter, but is it possible to implement a LFG channel and trade channel separate from global? I feel that would clean things up rather nicely, and if you wanted to just talk then global would be the place.

Thoughts?

It doesn't work to make dedicated channels for different things because people will not use them

Indeed, but they could make the spam filter a bit more sensitive. People shouldn't be able to post 5+ messages in a row.

Ive alraedy opened a thread and it got closed in 24hrs...They dont plan on doing anything.... so instead of trying to fight these people Ive joined them... and I make sure I spam 7x with alot of (skulls) (stars) so Im an attention whore

(Im kidding I just use ignore and report spam)

Doubt it will happen and most likely won't change anything. You just have to put up with it, i now spam x3 times in global so people can get a chance at seeing my advertisement when LFG.

This is the downside to no Group Finder & an ever increasing realm size i'm afraid.

Edit: @Yairommi: Yes! But... I think the Global Chat will stay as it is now. It's working as intended. I don't want to say more because 3rd Forum Ban because bla bla bla.
