Hey I'm Thecla or more commonly known as the Clam on internet. I've been playing WOW on and off for maybe over 8 years since before TBC was even released.
I've done almost everything there is to do in WoW, several times although I admit I never really cared for Vanilla content all that much because it took me months to level up in the beginning. My favorite expansion was TBC of course, since I experienced TBC to the fullest on retail, from release to the end and I was a member in a long time guild with which I did a lot of content. I played WOTLK more, but the experience was nowhere near as awesome as in TBC. I'm quite social in game and I like to join close knit guilds with a core group where everyone knows everyone and we're all good friends.
I eventually quit retail around the time Cata was released for school and stuff, and never really resubbed. For a long time i played on private TBC servers and my ex owned a server with only 30 people online, but it was a good time.
My all time favorite class is druid and it was also the first class I ever played. I played warlock in TBC for the longest time and it was the first class I completed a raid ever (grull's) and around WOTLK I rerolled DK tank and stick'd with it until the end.
I used to play WOW for the hardcore raiding and PVP scene that was at the time, but eventually I just continued to play for all the good friends I made in game and for the social aspect of it.
