1. Donating in Euros

I've not donated since the change that requires all purchases be made in Euros.

Does this mean our currency must be the Euro to donate or just calculate the correct conversion of currency when we purchase gift cards?

Do American debt/credit cards work & converse correctly?

  2. You will have to convert, say, if you want to buy 50 coins for 50 euros. You have to convert from dollars to euros. It's 5 or 6 bucks more than usual amount you've donated in the past.

Yeah, your debit cards should convert. If you have online banking or virtual bank (don't know how's it called in America) but yes, they can convert dollars to euros. I'm not sure if you will have to pay any conversion fee or something like that.

  3. i only can get us dollars and im desperate to donate is there any known way around this.

You can donate in any currency. It's converted automatically when you donate.

  5. Wanted to post to hopefully help out if anyone else has a similar issue: Some of the cards aren't processing correctly from some US locations (East Coast, for myself) and simply fail to have the transaction go through in any way. Paymentwall doesn't see a problem with your account, and Ticket Surf International/Ingenico (the processing companies for this transaction, I presume) doesn't actually take any money and isn't posting a transaction in your primary account, so it's rather difficult for anyone to help at all when nobody can see the issues :(. My solution was to purchase a CVS Gift Card, as awkward as that sounds. They sell them online, and for a 30 Euro donation you'll need $34 USD on the card (the total amount is $33.65, leaving you with 35¢ still left on said card). It's worked flawlessly for me thus far, I am not sure if it is an issue with Visa/Mastercard having a problem processing overseas payments, or if there is a fault in the payment system where no transactions are being issued, however the CVS Gift Card has worked well for me considering the other options. Worst case scenario I could pick up some smokes (don't smoke, please) and a gallon of milk or something if nothing worked out - as long as you don't live in Wyoming as there are no CVS Stores there. Not trying to advertise or anything for them, just hoping to find a middle-ground for donations to work if our primary means of purchasing things does not function.

You can not donate with US credit card if international transactions are disabled. You can usually get them enabled by contacting your bank. But Paymentwall has its own problems that their support isn't always able to solve.

Also currency exchange rates change all the time so it won't always be the same amount.
