1. Which class are efficient at solo leveling?

Im thinking of warlock or boomkin, which class can level faster?

    boomkin

    - shapeshift form, wont really have to buy a mount till late levels

    - heals op

    - can be viable for faster grouping since they can tank, heal, dps.

    warlock

    - got pet to do the luring/threat

    - imo best mount ingame ( nofly )

( no experience as warlock, dont know other viable pros for it )

im will be doing pure pve, and i already got ding80 + zygor + carbonite maps to help with leveling, I just need a class now!

  2. Imo go for the lock, as I haven't seen more than 2 since northend opening.
Both are heavily mana dependant early on, the warlock pet quests are annoying and boring, but the end-game is pretty fun. While as a boomkin you automatically got a spot in any raid due to ur 4 specs and when you get some decent boomkin gear you'll be able to heal with it as well and just start collecting tanking gear, because tanks are always needed. But if you just want to have fun regardless of people's (guild's) needs just level what you like!

  3. Whatever you do don't lvl up as boomkin - you'll gonna have a bad time, unless you enjoy being squishy and going oom every few mobs... even at higher lvls.

  4. Warlock - proven best farmer and fastest levelling ! and none will easily eff around you !

  5. If I were to chose between leveling as a druid o a warlock,I would definitely go for the druid(Feral DPS or Tank or even Resto, leveling as a cat/bear).However,choosing between a warlock and a moonkin is very easy, avoid the fluffy druid,go for the warlock, moonkin is good for raids, crazy arena setups, but not for leveling.

  6. If you want to level any talent build of the two classes, then a cat druid will be possibly the fastest because of very low downtime. It uses energy, can stealth, and heal itself with the remaining mana.

But a moonkin is absolutely awful for leveling, simply because to be mana efficient and have relatively sustainable dps it requires a lot of talents and a higher level (maybe even above 60). It's bad for solo leveling, but decent in groups if you have someone else to tank, and you only do AoE.

ahh i thought moonkins were king at solo leveling.

So are feral faster than hunters/warlock?

  8. Look, if you want to rush to 80 and faceroll everything then play a ret pally, but at 80 you'll have a hard time finding a group.

Why don't you just lvl a class that you enjoy in endgame? You're gonna spend months/years at 80, but leveling only takes a few weeks, so it's not important.

im just looking to gear up my rog after this, cuz rog low lvl is a pain! even with blue gears. my plan is to plvl my rog to get gears, lvls with this alt.

  10. Feral is total garbage, it doesn't even dream of being close to how fast ret/warr is (hint: they are the fastest classes)

Warlock has a pet that helps with tanking more/harder mobs but it's not fast at killing things either

both classes are slow levelers, just follow Vixen's advice and play what you want to play end game with

only reason why, i hate low level rog. Its a pain, i die in 1v2-3 even with blue gears. ( i have experience as rogue for mop ) its no fun when i keep dying and have to spend 20min on 1 single quest -.-

im only lvling a toon to cap cuz i want to llevel my rog later on through dungeons, etc
