Droprates while leveling

Bey guys,
i've had the strange feeling that something with droprates isnt right. Me and a friend are about to hit lvl 30 and we havent seen a green or blue item drop. Except for chests and recipes.
Is that intended and normal? Also the auction house seems pretty empty with blue gear in lower levels, but we have 10 000 ppl playing at peak from what many are leveling atm.
Did you experience the same or not? What do you think?

Was same for me when i was 1-58 now I'm in Outland and you get here TONS of greens literally TONS full bags of greens. Dunno about wotlk though

No Droprates are definitely not exactly blizzlike they can't be since no one knows the exact data required except blizz.

then they should raise them at least a little bit from lvl 1-58 imo, because the way it currently is you just get gear from quests and professions.
On top of that it really cuts the fun when you just level the whole day and never get the tickle of looting something blue or maybe a good green that you can wear or sell.
