As I noticed from the guide for aflfli lock Spirit > Crit (due to glyph of Life tap I guess). Does this mean that I should prioritize gear with spirit + haste over gear with crit + haste?
I'd also want to know how good is 4p T9 bonus? Is it better than 2p T10?
P.S. I just notifced the title is worng. Should be Crit vs Spirit.
Wait, what? Crit is not > Spirit for Affli. Crit still provides more crit% value than Spirit's conversion.
For Affli the stat weight is the standart Crit + Haste as all DPS casters, with a slight favor towards Haste, like with Shadow Priests and Arcane Mages (for example, TTW Mages have a slight favor towards Crit for higher Ignite uptime). The reason is that your DoTs can crit pretty much like normal spells after Pandemic together with Haunt, and your Shadow Bolt filler also gets a crit modifier from Ruin. So all of this makes Crit a competitive stat for Affli and a significantly more competitive stat than a secondary stat with conversion which is Spirit.
Spirit is only > Crit for deep Demonology Warlocks who choose to itemize towards max SP for maximum Demonic Pact effect, in which case they itemize towards Spirit + Haste, with a slight favor towards Spirit (and get hated by Resto Druids and HPriests). In this case your personal DPS suffers, but you're Demonology so you don't care. My pre-Moltdown ICC25-geared Demo had cases where he could get around 7k SP. That's a 700 spell power boost for your spell DPSers and healers. And that's freaking HUGE, especially in a 25-man.
