    Mac Client won't open

    so the torrent for the Wotlk finished but when i tried to open WoW.exe (not WoW launcher) up pops a message box saying "World of Warcraft cannot be opened" with no other options aside from "ok"
    i recently upgraded to the El Capitan OS but i can't for the life of me figure out what is wrong.

    I'm not on El Capitan so I can't say but try right clicking, going to show package contents, click on MACOS, and click the executable file there.
