1. Do you have any ideas for motivation to play?

Few days ago I deleted my 40 human rogue because I failed deleting characters and deleted wrong character. So I tried to start playing again, from the beginning and got 30 lvl tauren warrior. And now... I don`t have any motivation to play longer. Why? Because doing quests all the time is very boring for me and I want to do dungeons and hit 80 by doing only dungeons... But dungeons on warmane is very bad idea without RDF, because it`s very slow. And sometimes I must spam for 30 minutes to find group. It`s impossible. Do you have any ideas how to get motivation? Yes, I know, some guys will write: if you don`t want to play on Lordaeron because there is no RDF then go to Deathwing or Ragnaros. Really guys? ...... It`s impossible to hit 80 with RDF on Deathwing or Ragnaros because no one is playing dungeons here till 80. So... Stop writing this because it has no logic. If you say: change server - then tell me how? Warmane is the only very good wotlk server with high population and rates x1 (Lordaeron). There are no other wotlk servers. So I don`t have any selection. I really want to play WoW, wotlk with rates x1 but without RDF I think I can`t hit 80. It`s too hard for me. Any ideas? :< Maybe someone wants to help me by doing dungeons with me and finding groups for me? Idk.

  2. Maybe creating twink rogue or feral and ganking people in STV on Lordaeron realm? Can be fun.

  3. You seem to be burnt out of the game, it happens to most of the players. Try doing 1 level per day, or something until you regain the interest again.

  4. One quest at a time. It's what I do and as I got into STV I actually found things a lot more fun and easier to quest. I'd just run out and round up all my quest and finish them all off at once, go back and turn them in and go back out and do again. Once at 40 it even got easier as Tanaris, Hinterlands, Fel Woods, etc don't really have that many quest so it's really easy to finish off chunk of quest and hope into dungeons and as far as don't go, meh. They're over rated. Seriously, you might love it and I can't argue that, but I'm actually okay without RDF and I've met many others that are to. You just gotta go out and do it and the more i found myself out there forcing myself to quest the more fun it really got to be as I started really enjoying the open world and meeting all sorts of new people and making friends.

  5. If you really do not enjoy playing at the moment, you should take a break. Find another hobby / interest for the time being. Maybe another game or learning a useful skill (cooking, coding, skateboarding?) It all depends on your interest but it's normal for that to happen. I took a long break for several months because WoW just lost it's interest and recently I've gotten back into playing it. Though if you are still deadset on playing WoW even while burned out then just do what some others have said and take it one level a day, or even PvP / explore, maybe go glitch hunting :P (There's a lot of documented glitches that occurred in Wrath that are completely fine. Priest levitating comes to mind)

  6. If you play on the Horde, then play on Alliance. I've played Horde for 8 years and never leveled anything on Alliance. Earlier tonight after putting it off for a very long time, I finally decided to remake my character on Lordaeron. One change I made was, instead of being Orc/Undead I was a Human Warlock. It's like a whole different game with completely different quests. It feels new again. As someone who has played alot of MMO's I have intentionally done this a few times with other games just to increase my play value but with WoW I've just always hated the Alliance & loved the lore of the Orcs since Warcraft. Tonight I leveled my warlock to 10 on Lordaeron as Alliance, and it was awesome. Im actually excited to log in tonight and play., opposed to how I usually just log in to collect auctions or do an RHC to kill time. I'm going to focus on leveling, getting to 80 isnt my priority. I want to savor the flavor of leveling before I have to go back to farming the same dungeons I have been for the last 6 years. Do you know how excited I get about being able to do SFK with an actual group? Nostalgia is my motivation because soon I'll never be able to do this again. WoW isn't like most games, were it sits on a shelf and you can come back and play it anytime. Retail WoW is so far gone & almost over with; private servers won't be around forever. I've grown a lot of memories with this game playing with friends/ex-girlfriend and I know when I'm 50 years old sitting at some desk, i'll still think about this game from time to time and all the fun I had. I'm 23 right now, and like many people here we're all growing up. Soon I won't have time to play this game. There is some motivation. Cherish it while it last.

This also gets me thinking, when is the 10th anniversary for Warmane?

playing WOW is not a job...its something you do for fun.if you dont have fun do something else.

about RDF part so....you dont want to quest and game seems super slow and boring to you but you want to be on x1 rate server....because logic.
also you dont want to play on any of other 2 WOTLK realms because they have RDF but people never queue on low level sense rate are so high you can hit max level in few days only ...so you start on x1 rare server where RDF is disabled...again logic...

  8. Do you want to regain motivation and interest in playing wow ? This thing will work 100% for you : Play League of Legends for 1-2 months .. ( I recommend EuNE region since there are the most dumb players) This will get you sick enough of ret@rded players and get you back in wow .
