Can we have bigger and more effective punishments for harssment? cause the population of all the trash talkers, just keeps increasing and getting worse, and a lot of people are leaving the server because of it. And since most of them know they wont get banned or get in trouble for it, they do it constantly and im sick of seeing them sit there in groups trash talking some guy for no reason.
For as long as I've played WoW, there's always been trash talking. I almost feel like trash talking is a part of gaming, it's what gets some people going. We already have ways of dealing with harassment in-game, I don't expect them to change anytime soon.
I know but its rather stupid how they do it in groups and think its funny, because its not funny, it makes you wanna drop kick them to mars for being so pathetic and bullying online.. cause thats all they are cyber bullies. and the fact they never do it by themself they always got to have someone else there for the back up.
Sadly it cannot be helped, no matter how extreme the situation can get. But I believe it can be reportable as player bashing or something similar to that.
Depending on the level and insistence of it, yes, it can be reported, but the general way to deal with that kind of thing is to just ignore them. Harassment would require something repetitive and continuous, like the person going on alternate accounts to get around an ignore and keep attacking you.
I been having that happen a lot, by the same 5 people but none of them have gotten banned for it or got told to stop. Ive had them on ignore countless times, they switch accounts and chars daily for it.
If you have reported proof that it's continuous and by the same people and all (and that means unedited screenshots and the like, of course), but feel the reports are being ignored, you are free to send the Head GM a PM complaining about the lack of action.
I already told you what to do, including in case you believe you're making valid reports and no action is being taken.
None of it included starting drama in the Forums.
