I recently started playing again and I don't ever remember having this issue, but it's all over Blizz forums too as far back as WotLK and I couldn't find anything that worked. What is happening exactly is that whenever I click and hold to adjust my camera position, whether with the left or right mouse button, the mouse randomly resets to the center of the screen. This causes a lot of issues like suddenly doing a 180 and making targeting difficult. I'm running Windows 10 now, but I have always had XP before and never noticed this issue, but it seems to be on 7, 8, and 8.1 as well and a few cases on XP. I've tried reinstalling drivers, changing mouses and settings, and even reinstalled WoW. Nothing seems to do the trick. I read that lowering the DPI on the mouse can reduce it but I haven't noticed a difference. I'm using a blackweb GRIM gaming mouse, nothing special but it happens across all of my mouses. It's happening about every 5-10 clicks which is pretty annoying. Has anyone else had this problem and maybe come up with a quick fix? The most I've read from Blizz mods is switching from windowed mode to full screen or vice versa and it doesn't work either.
It's ridiculously annoying and makes the game really irritating to play, since...well, I'm used to adjusting my camera / character a lot, especially in pvp, and this just ****s me up every other click. ;__;
Tried different mice, new and older, all have the same problem, playing around with any options, graphical or interface, didn't do anything.
Only happens during camera movement though, not when I click and drag in the menu or just click ingame.
I'm on win10 atm, the problem happens in both, the old and the new client and renaming the Cache, WTF and Interface folder didn't change anything.
"Messing with the resolution / windowed & full screen settings" didn't do jack in more or less any combination of messing around with them.
Does anyone know any other way to deal with it perhaps?!
€: seeing how it's an innate WoW problem and is still being reported from the live version...I won't get my hopes up though.

One pseudo-workaround I found is to lower the polling rate of the mouse.
I usually run with 1000, lowered to 125 the issue happens a lot less, but still rather frequently.
Kudos to the guys in this reddit thread about the issue: https://www.reddit.com/r/wow/comment...ill_in_ptr_61/
