1. Battle for Gilneas - Horde bugged

Has anyone else noticed the bug on the Horde side in the BG map Battle for Gilneas? When you die you don't resurect on the closest graveyard, but you are randomly resurected somewhere else (most of the time on the horde start position)?
I talked to one friend who played when warmane first launched this server and he told me that the same bug was present then? Does that mean that they basically didn't even script anything considering we only got 1 of 3 promissed new BG maps, and 1 bugged with a bug that was already there in the first place?

  2. None? Is it really possible that I am the only one who noticed this?

  3. I can't get the bug up (I guess server issues) so I will post the screenshot here. You can see on the screenshot that I died at the mines and my ghost was released at the waterworks. Anyone else experienced this?

I managed to make the bugreport - pls vote.

  4. It's been working well so far on alliance side. I didnt test the BG on horde side yet.
But the bug you describe existed on the first mop release and on cata aswell. So im sure you are not the only one experiencing it. You can post it on the bugtracker i guess and they will fix it(maybe).

btw its normal not to respawn to the same gy you died on this bg.

    Spoiler: Show
With patch 4.1 the functionality of graveyards within the Battle for Gilneas was changed.

Players who die at a control point that they own will now be teleported to the next closest graveyard, instead of the one at which they died.
If a player's team owns the Mine and Waterworks, and dies at Waterworks, they will be teleported to the Mine.
If an Alliance player's team only owns Lighthouse, and dies at Lighthouse, they will respawn at their base.
If a Horde player's team owns Waterworks and Mine, and dies at Lighthouse, they will respawn at Waterworks.

In summary, when a player dies at a point that the player's team currently controls they will not resurrect at that point's graveyard; rather they will resurrect at the next closest controlled point or at their team's starting location if no other base is controlled. This behaviour is counter-intuitive to many players and is often incorrectly reported as a bug.

  5. Doesn't work well for Alliance either, when you die on WW for example, and you have Mines you will spawn at Mines graveyard.

  6. Respawn works as it should.
Respawning always in same place would make defending so much easier and make the BG boring too.
So now after you die you need to run def or attack other base. Just need some communication when give up and change base.

    Read the wiki:

O_o I can't believe I missed this. I actually tried to search just to see if this is normal or not. I guess I was wrong. Pls ignore the post then.

  8. In the past bug was causing you to ress at the enemy base sometimes, like you as horde die at WW, allys are controlling mines and you ress at mines.
