Which class to start

Hello community,

I want to start to play on Lordaeron and since I don't have an idea which class to play, I would appreciate some feedback from the status of classes here. :-) Can u tell me what classes(+talent trees) are needed? I don't want to play a mainstream class for sure. :-)

If you really want to play something needed, then level a healer. Probably shaman would best class.

I am not playing on Lordaeron, but it doesn't matter. All classes are good if you know how to play with them, pushing them to their limits, since Lordaeron is the best WotLK server in the world, and i am pretty sure almost every class is working as intended. Play what you enjoy the most, i know people who are asking such questions "which class" etc, are getting this answer, so i'm going to make it a bit different, by playing what you enjoy the most i mean, it depends on what class you wanna play?
melee, caster, range?

Do you like to always pick your fights and to have the ability to escape death 80% of all situations? - then pick Rogue
Other similar to Rogue is Feral Druid, however rogue is a bit better in Stealth.

If you enjoy showing yourself in front of everybody and whirl and take damage and do high amount of damage, you can pick warrior, or death knight, they both are good. If you want to be a caster, you may pick Mage, it's good class, and since wotlk to other expansions, mages if you play them right, you can be devastating. It all depends on what fits in your playstyle. Remember, you cannot be good at classes that you do not enjoy playing.

if you want to play PvE make classes with multi spec roles tank+dps(DK,Warr) tank+healer+dps(paladin,dudu) healer+dps(priest/shaman)...
PvP based on skills and counter classes skill [if you want to play battleground make range classes because mdps must enter in short distance fights but ranges can avoid] [ arena based on skills]
