Technical Cannot log into the game world

Excuse me, but I have not been able to get into the game world for few hours now. I can log in normally and choose my characters, but I will always either stuck in loading screen with the bar full, or I get into the game world, but not seeming to register anything. (my character has 'unknown' as name). This happens in Lordaeron, Deathwing, and even Frostwolf

I've been pinging a lot lately, curiously a ping to logon.warmane.com ends up with Request Timed Out. Note that I can enter other non-warmane server without any problem and pings to them with normal latency. It feels like I was somehow blocked off from the logon server

Any idea what the problem might be?

I'm having same problem. I could login but got stucked on loading screen too. My connection is fine to other sites & still could ping to deathwing server.

PS: I've just reinstall my windows because having huge lag in last 2 days (only on warmane). I have already check for virus & malware.

I could login with WTFast so the problem isn't on my computer.

After checking retail forum and pinging other logon server, I guess logon server not giving reply back is normal, however, the problem still persists. Flushing the DNS did not work. I've tried deleting the cache, only to end up getting stuck in the Retrieving Character List for what seems to be forever. I managed to get past it, but I'm still stuck in the loading screen once more

When I did manage to enter the world at least once in one of the hundred attempts, though, the data transfer seems to be slow as hell



A few minutes of standstill later, I got disconnected off the server

Problem still persists. I'm led to believe that I've been blocked by the anti-ddos protection. This isn't new for me as it happened to me on other game that suffered ddos attack daily. I have Dynamic IP address. But if this is really true, it's really strange since I only got this problem today, and I managed to play at least a few minutes before this problem arises. It was roughly 12 hours ago.

Same here, I can't get into the char, right after the bar loads, my the ui appears with my char and then it's gone, an error message appears . Fix this pls c:

Same here, i got stuck on loading screen i thought my internet connection, but it is not the problem. pls fix
