I noticed a lot of players on Lordaeron aren't really grouping up between the levels of 1 and 60, and most will actively avoid one another for some reason or another. Healers are rare, tanks are uncommon, and no one generally seems to want to ever do any kind of questing or dungeons until around 60+. I've also seen a few level 80's rushing some lower level people (they seem selective about this and most guilds I was in before starting my own rarely did this), and it just kind of baffles me. Kind of wish they would remove the blues/experience gained from joining an RDF and simply let the RDF remain open, cause at this point I've been mostly solo for my time on the server.
That being said I'd like to ask why players are so confined to a solo setting, why no one wants to play as a healer, why everyone just seemingly avoids one another like the plague until the higher levels. I mean if you're just in it to bypass the grind, why not join a higher gain server or an auto 80 server? Why bother wasting your time here if you're not looking to have fun and group up?
someone people simply don't like grouping with others. personally i'd rather do **** solo than group up with 4 random tards to try and do anything. first time i ever touched rdf was after i hit 80, and that was only because i needed to to get gear.

Basically this. If I ever grouped with you while leveling, it was because I didn't want to have to compete for mobs. I solo most group quests (Nagrand and Zul'Drak arena are the key exceptions), and the dungeons are usually not worth doing unless you have 3+ quests for it.
You run into so many bad players (either from ignorance or pure stupidity) that the very idea of grouping with others makes my stomach churn.
During the "rush" grouping was very common and you could find a group for any dungeon. Lvled my twink the usual way during bc and still got a group quickly even if it didnt match the speed of my first char. When ressources were sparse people grouped now that the low lvl pop declines its not that much of a big deal if you group or not. Very natural developement

I really miss that, I leveled my Resto shaman up to 66 spending around 80% of the time in dungeons (since yes leveling a healer alone sucks), I could still level pretty easy as a shaman though (Pull 6-7-8 mobs, magma totem, heal myself until their dead), But now when I come online to hopefully do TBC dungeons to get to the point where I can go northrend I find jack sht, 3 hours I looked at global while questing if there was any group, for 6 different dungeons I might add, that I could still get gear / exp from.
Now as a healer I should have known better and make the party myself since it's probably because the lack of healers that people dont even wanna waste their energy trying. Not to mention all the people who sign up as a healer and then end up having every talent point in dps speccs and alot of hit gear.

It's a bizarre thing to me.
1) Why solo setting?
- People want to level up faster without wasting time talking to others.
2) Why no one plays as a healer?
- RDF is disabled, and healer can't level up fast enough by grinding.
3) Why avoid one another?
- Go to #1 for answer.
4) Why bypass the grind?
- People like epic high-end gear and looking badass in it.
5) Why bother wasting time here?
- Highest population.
I think a lot of people got used to the convenience of the RDF as well. Now, manually creating groups and then traveling to the dungeon, is quite a chore.
Travenling at lower levels can be quite a pain for people, slow mounts, no flight path where you want etc. Honestly its not worth it to run to the other side of the world for a dung.
I don't know what server you guys are playing on, I even got a group for stratholme and we actually finished it yesterday (a dungeon most skip since they get to 58 and run to outland).
And for the rest I always got in, even as a paladin, granted I was tank though.
I'm not sure what you want exactly, there's NO RDF so you can't dungeon 24/7>get lvl 80>same thing till raids. People mix it up with questing since its boring otherwise, so they are not frequent, but I freaking guarantee you there are plenty still happening.
But do be warned that it will decrease with time, since more and more get to max level, and if they level an alt they won't make a group, they will simply make a separate account entirely and level it with their main, but that scenario won't happen for at least 2-3 more months imho.
Because most people sees wow as a job instead of a game, and dungeons just arnt Worth it.
Of course the stupidity of others is a major factor as well, how many time havnt we found ourselves arriving at the summoning stone and that one person never accepts the summon and ultimately leaves.
A reason why there are no healers is because most people actually dont know how to fcking heal. They insist that it is impossible to heal without actually being specced healer (sorry I am shadow priest!!), others just dont bother to collect any kind of healing gear (sorry I am feral druid!!).
They refuse to acknowledge the fact that they are terrible healers because they never learned to how to really heal in the first Place.
dungeon xp without quests is poor with average players compared to questing/grind and it takes long to find grps/travel there -> slow way to level -> heal-spec is not worth and only found when dual spec is buyable (twinks only)
personally i had no healgear with retpala since it sucks to have a bag just filled with healgear for days that i would i had maybe used one time for an 1h dungeon
Hello
I play on Lordaeron realm and find that some players can be helpful and some are not. I am still leveling my highest toon atm Level 50 Alliance Hunter and a few alts. I love to group up on (kill quests only) as a loot quest you have to take turns looting the mobs. Most of the time the others players you group up with rush in and go too fast to pull tons of mobs, do not take turns looting the item and need on every item that you roll for regardless of their spec, grab the loot and when they are done they leave and do not help you finish. I hate it when others players spam invite you, never asking if you want to group up or if you are even on that quest. I do not want to block invites, but it sure would be nice if they asked first.
On top of that there is a server loot bug when you group and sometimes the other player cant see any loot. When ever I do group up with players after I am done, I make sure the other player finishes too. I do not bother with Dungeons unless you have a group ready to go and find questing faster while leveling.
Well for me, I find it impolite to invite before asking. Hence I will decline every invite. As to why I don't want to level as a healer, cause dmg is too low when questing and it takes longer.
