Cataclysm Can't share raid loot

I accidentally looted the wrong loot that someone else was supposed to get, so I thought "fine, I'll just trade it with him" but that's not working and I really don't wanna be labeled as a ninja. Please help.

Further clarification, he was in the raid and the loot says its tradeable to players who were in the raid able to loot it at the time. It still won't let me give it to the guy.

drag this item and drop item in trade window. Because if you just click on this item, item will be placed as nontradable.
Or player was out of range from loot
