WotLK All my characters are gone

Yesterday I signed in after being offline for 2 days and all my characters are gone. I had 2 lvl 80 characters, a human paladin and an undead warlock, but yesterday when I signed in both of them were gone,. What is the course of action I should be taking now?

1) change your pssw, clearly some funny guy logged into your Account

2) you can only restore your Characters by your own, go here: https://www.warmane.com/account/services and:
Select Realm>Select a random Character>Set Currency:Points or Coins>Character Restoration

now you should be able to see your deleted characters, you can use thsi service for Points or Coins

Well I tried that, but it gives me this message

You do not have any characters that require restoration on Ragnaros

Any other options?

weird, lvl 80 Chars should be restorable. Are you sure those Chars are deleted? maybe you loggend on the wrong Realm, try to look for them on the Armorry: http://armory.warmane.com/

Oh man... I've been trying to log into an older account. I feel like a dimwit now...
