Wow login connected but cant play..

For the past month or so i have tried to log in to my account, and cant. It says it connects and everything but it doesnt go any further... Does anybody else have this problem or know why or how i can remedy this please let me know.

First of all, make sure your \Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf is pointing to logon.warmane.com
If what it says is "connected", but it gets stucked there, it might be an issue with firewalls. Try disabling antivirus / windows firewall and check that no new recently installed applications can be messing with its packets.

Where are you from? Iran? in this case there is connection problem and you can't connect to most of the Realms

If you are NOT from Irand and you are trying to log-in on Frostwolf/MoP then it is because you are still using old 5.4.2 client, now we are using 5.4.8
So in this case you have 3 different options:
1) go here: https://www.warmane.com/download and get full 5.4.8 client by selecting "Mist of Pandaria"
2) or by selecting "MoP minimal", it is a 16MB installer which let you play and download the game at same time
3) if you are using 5.4.2 WITHOUT WoD models then you can Upgrade it to 5.4.8 by following this easy guide: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....and-good-to-go!

good sir, link on bottom isn't working. My client is the old 5.4.2 and I'm too impatient to download 30G worth of whole client. i stopped playing a year ago and i want to come back. Thanks in advance. :)
