Holy jesus, what is going on with putting restrictions on how many whispers you can send out? This never used to be a thing, but now as soon as I'm holding up an active conversation with more than one player at a time I keep getting muted for 60 seconds. Seriously a pain. If you wanna combat people who are using whispers to spam out advertisements and things like that please figure out another way... this is unbearable.

Ye this mute system is crap anyway. How the hell can i callout in Battlegrounds ? Make it atleast 4x Enter u get muted. but this holy ****.

This is pure communism,I can't talk properly with my friends when we cannot stay grouped .It's sick,revert it back Warmane!
Old Lordaeron had bugs,but this new one is well scripted but the staff implements horrible ideas,no RDF,HONOR system nerfed,Call to Arms disabled,honor from BGs was shrunked and now I can't even talk with my friends,this is nonsense.
If I say something and then reply with a yes or no or send and emoticon,then I am muted for 1 minute.It's a very communistic measure,I'm disappointed,Warmane !

yeah, its soooo annoying.... .I really get pissed off i get muted 30 mins on average every hour.
Also , its so annoying in raids when u have whisper/announce macros on spells and u click them twice cuz of gcd boom mute.. its kinda gamebreaking

Yep. We were running PTR runs and when our RL used his addon to do a pull timer he only did half of it because he was muted mid-timer ^^

Are you guys using an addon like Carbonite? That addon spams like crazy in hidden channels, which is why you are getting muted. There are other addons that do the same too.

I'm using Total RP (1 and 2). It spams about a few post in a hidden channel and got me muted for it

The anti-spam system that the server uses is indeed abit too harsh. Maybe a suggestion how to make it better will be more helpful then a random comments. For example here are my suggestions:
- The system should monitor (be active) only on public channels where people do spam sometimes, for example general, trade, local defence, global + /say
-The system should not monitor guild, party, battleground, raid, whisper + all private chat channels
