1. Mouseover Taunt Macro

So I'm currently playing prot on my warrior, only 42 at the moment, and I'm having trouble with my mouseover taunt macro:

    #showtooltip
    /cast [target=mouseover] Taunt

For some reason this will only cast taunt on my selected target, and I am totally baffled as to why it won't cast on my unselected mouseover target. I tested the mouseover function with rend, bandages, and moonfire on my druid and they all work, but when I change it to Taunt it fails.

I am completely lost for why this isn't working. Can anyone help me find whatever I am missing?

  2. you can use /cast [@mouseover] taunt

  3. you can use /cast [@mouseover] taunt
That still doesn't work, and still tries to only taunt my selected target, and fails to taunt the mouseover target.

  4. Are you hovering your mouse on their health bar?

  5. Are you hovering your mouse on their health bar?
I'm hovering over the actual model, which becomes slightly highlighted when my mouse is over them, and this works for both rend and moonfire.

  6. I've just fully rewritten the macro, and now both the new one and the old one (which are completely identical) function correctly. I think it may have been a problem with the macro saving changes made to it correctly.

Has anyone else experienced this, and know how to more reliably get macros to save changes?
