WotLK Pet Disappeared!!!

I am currently a level 73 troll hunter, I had a warp stalker pet named blue. I have been playing for hours tonight and when I went to log out, my character had my old devilsaur behind him. Curiously, I relogged to see if it was a glitch. My warp stalker is not anywhere. I did not abandon him or put him in with a stablemaster. He is just gone. HELP WARMANE I don't want to have to go find a new one and re-level it. Mine disappeared and I would like it back :(
(I checked if he was dead, i tried reviving, calling pet. nothing worked.)

Lol nevermind. I tried looking at it again, somehow when it died or something my devilsaur was pulled from stable, however i am marksman spec'd and it would let me summon him. I put him back away and my pet appeared. Still weird
