WotLK I need help!

Hello, first of all, I don't even know whether I'm posting in the right category, but oh well.
I'm a new player and I've been trying to access the WotLK server since yesterday, however with zero luck.
I've downloaded the client from this website and changed the realmlist file from "set realmlist logon.warmane.ru" to "set realmlist logon.warmane.com"
Whenever I launch the game by using "WoW.exe" it launches just fine, however, it seems to be a stock WoW client and it asks for a Battle.net login.
I try to log in by using my warmane credentials, that being my nickname and password, but it just says that the data I'm putting in is invalid and offers a link to the official WoW website.
I'm probably doing something wrong. Any advice for a total noob?
And yes, I'm 200% sure that my logins are correct.

you need to use your Warmane AcccountName, not email address or forum nickname.
Just like you log-in on website

Yes, that's what I'm using. And it doesn't work for some reason.
