WotLK Server queue

Im playing on Lordaeron and here's what i find out. Queue at prime play times it makes you w8 for like an hour or more. Today i watched a movie, ate and went to sleep. Forgot to logout. When i came back ,that should be like 3 hours l8r (or maybe a bit more)i was still on character creation screen. At same time some friends of mine was on queue for an hour or something. Maybe this is something you have to fix so the queues get shorter or it may was something irelevant. I dont really know, im saying just in case
