Will There Ever Be An Expansion Transfer?

Just a thought... I would be willing, and I'm sure others would be too, to donate/support a system that would allow accounts to progress their characters through expansions. I seem to remember, this was several years ago, talk about expansion transfers.

What I mean by this is that players on WoLK, instead of becoming stuck on a server with everything done, could move onto Cata or MoP. Obviously the transfers would not work in reverse, but it would definitely offer some serious improvements by allowing players to progress their character story just like players got to do on Blizz servers.

Discussed for countless times (http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=328395). There was such project planned some time ago, simmilaring the cores was 1st step required for such, yet even with that there is a whole lot to do. Knowing the progress of Cataclysm and Mists, I really doubt it will be a priority anytime soon.

There is probably a good 1 year before we reach the point where such transfers will be needed to continue the progression on Lordaeron, why should we talk about this suggestion every day, when the majority of the people who open the threads now will probably have long stopped playing WoW by that time ?
