Hello, ive made my first character on the WOTLK server and have a few questions baout my warlock which is a class ive never played before.
What is the best professions for me? tailoring and skinng or alchemy and herb or another combination?
What is the best spec for leveling?
What is the best pet used for leveling?
Any extra pro tips? :D

that's all I got, though I don't main warlock and never played it but a friend of mine did and that's basically what I know from him.

Tailor enchanting because they are easy to level on their own and have many benefits.
Spec would be hybrid or destro because its good and easy with potato gear though demon to help your pet pick up your slack. Affliction can be abit better dps wise but more to master in the spec.
Voidwalker for sure so you can tank and spank.

Be sure to take advantage of fear and get necrosis to easily manage spells and shards. Read a guide or two to see how to lock better.

alchemy herb if u care much for raiding
affliction spec for leveling/ dungeons/ raids until you have good gear to go destruction
voidwalker is best ( remember to have auto taunt on)

The combinations which you can take are:
- Alchemy + Herbalism - access to elixirs and potions, providing empowerment and higher sustain. Able to make and sell flasks and raw epic gems once you reach 80.
- Inscription + Herbalism - free glyphs and scrolls during leveling, also the highest yielding professions for leveling, able to make hundreds of gold at low level. Occasionally, gives you access to random blue gear. At max level you're able to make Darkmoon Card trinkets, which are very highly valued by certain classes.
- Mining + Jewelcrafting - free necks & rings - something that is very hard to get while leveling. Able to make good money from selling low-level jewelry, but requires a lot of time invested. At max level you're basically a gem vendor and are also able to make mediocre quality jewelry, which can fetch an OK price.
- Tailoring + Enchanting - the most common choice for any clother as it gives you gear while leveling. However, it is also the worst choice for a first character as it sucks money out of you like a mosquito sucks blood. You'll be using cloth for your tailoring and green items for your enchanting instead of selling them and you'll have to invest huge money into rods and maybe even pearls every 10-15 levels. At max level you're able to make good money from both professions, obviously, but the pain to get there if it's your first character is just not worth it.
All 3 specs are decent for leveling. Affliction has the highest sustain. Demonology lets your demon do most of the job for you. Destruction is the most fun and bursty spec, but it has next to no sustain.
You'll generally want to use Voidwalker during leveling. If you're Affli, you might want Felhunter for the damage or Imp if you're Destruction. If you're Demonology, you switch the voidwalker with felguard once you reach it.
