Anyone know how to complete this quest in the start area where you use the Frostbrood Vanquisher to kill the 150 scarlet soldiers and destroy the 10 ballistas? I summon the mount, but it has no mana at all and the ability to regain mana (Devour Humanoid) does not work, so basically cant do anything.

I didnt even watch the mana at that time, but i saw it was empty when i was done with the q... try to only hit big packs so you dont waste mana maybe? Or ask a GM for help via ingame ticket, maybe they can help.

Yea, I had to open a ticket. And what I meant was that when I summon the mount, it actually starts out with no mana at all...so cant even cast once. And like I said, the mana regen ability (Devour Humanoid) just doesn't work.

Like I said 2 times now, the spell Devour Humanoid did not work either. This whole quest was just completely broken yesterday and a GM ended up having to complete it for me. Maybe it's fixed now, idk...but if it's not and someone is stuck here, just open a ticket and you will get help. Im sure this will be fixed quickly if not already as you can not make a DK at all with broken quests in that place.

Can confirm, this quest IS currently still broken. There was just a server restart, but this crucial quest has not been fixed.

Made a DK yesterday, this quest was working normally, the mount had mana, etc
BUT ~ i got bugged later on because Death Gate is bugged as hell, and it freezes you during loading screen, when you get the spell and the NPC asks you to return to the Ebonhold via Death Gate, i got "de-phased", so the mobs for the next quest (Battle for the Ebonhold) won't appear
So, as a heads up, dont use Death Gate
