Ok so, my story is this. I played MOP on Warmane before more than a year ago. Now i came back, while i was waiting for Random Dungeon Finder i decided to do some quests so i picked up the first few ones that i saw. Realized they were bugged, than i remembered i also tried them a year before, they were also bugged. So i went to the bug tracker to check it out, there was no report of the bugs.
So my question is, why is no one reporting buged stuff on mop?
I know there is alot of things going on with the new merge, but, can we expect to get some hot fixes any time soon? (If it didn't happened in a year i know its stupid to expect fixes "any time soon")
Anyway, just wanted to say that dungeons are bugged, quests are bugged, its been so much time and there are still some basic stuff that don't work. Waiting for RDF for 30 min just to get in a dungeon that i cant complete cause bosses are bugged, and than re logging and using tricks to avoid dungeon deserter.
Is it because no one is reporting it on the bugtracker or just no time/resources?
Doubt I am going to get any serious answer, but i wanted to put this out there. Maybe someone important reads it.
Thanks for reading
Some reports were made, it is just no one haven't been voting them up, hence reported bugs were removed from the equation.
Dude, bugs are not needed to be voted up in order to get fixed. They were fixing NPC bugs with only 3-4 vote ups while almost no one was caring about those npc's, and also it's fun that they added new bugs to NPC spells they fixed.
Warmane staffs said they would pay more attention to MoP after lordaeron release, but really did they? Then they said they will do it after changing WotLK cores, and now it's after the merge and we must wait for their empty promises again...
They also said they will port old dungeons from WotLK to cata and MoP realms, may I ask staffs when will that happen?! Probably never.
Don't want to start a riot here. Checked the change log for MOP, there have been a lot of fixes, we should appreciate that. It's a free server right? So no *****ing pls, its our free choice to play or not. Also I understand that when u fix something it can create a butterfly effect, so fixing stuff takes time.
Warmane priority's are WOTLK realms, and they should be focusing on them, since it seems it's their main source of resources. And they are doing exactly that. Of course there will be problems, and they will be solved in time, and since they fixed WOTLK ICC and the long promised Ulduar, bought the new core, merging realms, braking population records...
When you think of it, ofc they are first gonna fix old raids/expansions and start moving UP. And MOP is the newest expansion here so its just logical its gonna get fixed last. So they fixed wotlk, they gonna implement it on Cata, they gonna fix Cata, implement all of that on MOP and than fix MOP. I see this as a natural process
We all know that it's a free server and we choose to play or not, and I didn't say they must give us sth, etc. But honestly it's been a really long time since the release of mop and still we are far behind other servers eventhough molten mop ptr started sooner than them.
I don't know if you were playing on molten at mop release time or not but there was an insane amount of population in queue, 2 mop realms full and 1k queue each but now Frostwolf hardly reaches 4k. Where did they go? Ofc to other servers mostly. I am afraid if yWarmane pay no attention to mop, it will eventually become like cata.
I was here while Molten still didn't release the Lich King encounter.
Been trough all the "rough weather" and i am still here. I think wow is first of all a social game. And those of us who have friends here and want to play with each other are the ones that stayed.
I even spent a new year on raidcall drinking and doing random battlegrounds till 8am...the good old times... :)
On topic, i hope MOP gets the quality like wotlk realms some day soon.
Should i make it my business to go around and report unreported bugs. Would that make any difference?
Nope, you would only waste your time like I did dozens of times. Reported bugs, exploits - didn't even get a thanks. Exploits I reported got fixed within 2 hours, while bugs are pending for 1-2 years on bugtracker. When I was first motivated, I shouted through global for days for my bug report to be noticed. We had 100 upvotes and it's pending for months. Game ruining bug that doesn't allow proper twinking and kills the realm: https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/6593

I really don't get why would you twink on 85-89, when u can just turn 90 and get Grievous gear in 3-5 days and play normally like everyone else....
In regards to bugtracker... sadly, you're more or less right....

First, I think heaving all those realms is way too much... We had a chance of merging Cata and MoP, but ppl UNFORTUNATELY voted against that...
I know that ppl who don't want to play on Cata should not be forced to move here, but we have too many realms, and either Cata or MoP should be closed. The cuts HAVE TO be made, and for benefit of all of us, even if it means part of the players would move to different server, it should have been done. Cata is dead server since long time ago and as such, it should have been abandoned. It's just waste of resources.
Even if they chose to close MoP, I would be OK with it, cause it would still be a step forward. That way, at least the realm that remains would have a chance of getting AT LEAST SOME quality content and updates. This way, MoP is condemned to face Cata's destiny and die too. I mean, MoP had 2 realms with maxed population, plus thousands in queue on each realm... It really did not deserve the treatment it received. If it received half of the attention and content WOTLK is receiving, the population would be double from what they have on WOTLK now.
Lately, some improvements have been made, but it's still a looooong journey ahead. Specially when all the focus is still on WOTLK and I don't thing it will shift any time soon, IF EVER.
