First of all i want to say that warmane has one of the best support on all wow private servers and i thank them for that,but there is 1 wrong thing
I will give you an example what happened with my buddy few days ago:
He didnt have acess to old email and he changed email few times due to that,and someone managed to get hands on his acc name and opened ticket and said that its account got hacked and that he wants it back and support without any deeper investigation reverted it back to an old email that he didnt have acess to aswell as pw reset...I am wondering why dont staff support from warmane act aswell as old staff and just go deeper into investigation ? I remember old support didnt even want to bother about it if email is changed due to the fact that only reason if email is changed is because of probably trade or some other illegal activity(not like keylogers are still ideal)...
Because it's generally safe to revert the account back to the prior email address. Since the original account owner would most likely be the owner of said email.
Also Staff can see IP addresses, as can yourself if you look at your account. They can see X changed Emaill address, X authenticated and logged in, X changed password etc. So it's not all that difficult to provide proof of all this (even Dynamic IPs tend to be kept within a certain range, like for example mines is always 109.151.XXX.XX).
I agree but for example what if person forgot acess to old email adress and he changed it due to its reason,and troll person randomly opens ticket saying he wants it reverted,they will just do it and he will lose acess to account..It seems like they dont look all factors as it hapened to my friend..
