Does anyone do anything besides end game material?

I'm a bit of a noob on this server, and I haven't played retail in years, but from my experience everyone and their mother is only doing strictly Wrath material. I get it, its a Wrath server, but that means it includes all previous material does it not?

Whenever I'm looking for a guild, nearly every single one is either requiring a certain GS, only wanting certain classes/specs to fill their roster, or is working TOWARDS doing endgame raids and gearing up its members, but you have to already be lvl 80 and have knowledge of the raids/achievements.

I'd rather avoid my returning to WoW experience be "Quest/Dungeon to 80, grind for gear, THEN do raids and have fun." I'm not asking to do it all, but it would be great do go back and experience raids like Sunwell, Black Temple, hell even Molten Core without having to level up characters on separate clients where all said content IS the end-game content.

Is it just that I have bad luck at finding guilds, or is everyone fine with this method of playing?

why would any1 want to make a guild to do 60 content then 70 content then 80 content is beyond me

the thing you ask is not so great that you think.

we had it...

server was locked at lvl 60 for several months - pve was quite good but pvp was just paly/war flood in each direction
then server was locked at lvl 70 - pve was just stupid (all possible raids cleared within 3 hours - total, not each...) and pvp simply did not exist.

WotLK server means WotLK talents and spells /abilities - due to that even locking it on lower level isn't even close to Vanilia/TBC experience.
