Newcomer, questions about realm

Hi all, i'm a returning player who used to play back in the molten days and i wanna relive those moments, but i haveva few questions.

1. What's the exp rate, drop rate, and honor rate on Icecrown?
2. What's the state of raids/HCs scripting, and what's the latest raid available?
3. What's the state of abilitiy/skill/talent functionality??, everything working??, anything gamebreaking?
4. How easy is it to gear up sufficiently for the latest raids??
5. How easy is it to gear up sufficiently to not get facerolled in lvl80 BGs??
6. Do AV BGs pop often or is it not so common, and if they pop, how much do they often last??
7. How friendly are players and guilds??, is it predominantly elitists or are there any progressive/friendlier people/guilds?

Note: k'm thinking about rolling a Druid (gonna play balance and feral) or a Shaman (Elemental and Enhancement), i'm leaning more towards druid atm, but if you have any remarks regarding their performance in BGs please do tell.

1. x7, x1, x1 (not sure)
2. everything is available and working close to perfectly. naxx was temporarily closed, idk now.
icc is currently 100% doable and scripted, needs a few adjustments only. RS is doable but needs adjustments.
3. I'd say every class is 95%.
4. really easy. 2 weeks and you're in 25 Heroics if you know the game well enough.
5. BGs are different, you're always getting facerolled by full bis people anyways when you start. wintergrasp helps for the honor farming.
6. people complain a lot about AV, probably gonna get reduced (more than it is already).
7. people got slightly less "elitistic" and egotistic after the core swap due to not farming 5 LoD 5 Halion a week because either scripts are actually working now or some bosses were undoable. that's generally speaking. of course there are lots of douchebags as there are nice people and guilds. I don't think progressive guilds are a thing, I've seen a project for one around the forums.

could you elaborate on #5 please??, BIS because donation shop or simply because they had a lot more time to farm top raids?
