WOTLK Realm Decision

Hi, I am an old player who has been trying to return back to WoW and was wondering which of the WOTLK servers might be the best for me. I really enjoy PvE and progression, as well as some PvP. At the same time really really want a high population and lots of activity going on. I started playing on Lordaeron, but noticed the slight population decrease and Icecrown blooming quite nicely.
Is everyone going to return back to Lordaeron when ToC and ICC are released?
Any time frame for those raids on Lordaeron?
Is all the hype surrounding Icecrown going to die down?
I just want to make the right decision more or less based on population before I put a lot of time and effort into a single toon. Thank you for any feedback!

i don't expect icecrowns population to dip much, it's working quite nicely, and there's quite a few that only played on lord for the core while they waited for the higher rated realms to get it. combine that with not everyone liking the who ridiculous raid buffs in lord, and i wouldn't be surprised to see more people leave lord for icecrown.

Icecrown has all the content available AND is with high rates.
People who are interested in this kind of realm will return.
Surrounding Icecrown, if 12k change to 11k I wont see anything change. Like really.
Timeframe for raids for Lordaeron? Probably when staff feels like people farm the whole instance already AND ToC and IoC are ready for release.

the population on Icecrown will only increase, it's like the best WotLK server right now despite some annoying bugs, all the other international 3.3.5 servers have such a small playerbase that they're unplayable

I expect Lord to slowly die after it hits ICC/RS and the progression thing is over, not to mention that people are already getting tired of the "hardcore" buffed raids...
