i have been playing all day in bg's but i didnt get any AV is that a coincidence ? or something weird happened to AV like IOC :(
any GM can reply to this ? no trolling please i cant live without that lovely bg

What in the ****in ****? Why would somebody like AV? wasting 50 minutes for nothing. Literally nothing. They lowered the chance for players to get that bg, cos of community`s request i guess. And don`t compare this **** AV with IoC. They are not same. You can go docks, in IoC, get to enemy`s door, destroy gate and kill boss. While for this fukin **** bg AV, you need to wait for the towers to burn. A normal AV lasts for 40-50 minutes. That is really bad. For everything what has been done to the server by the Staff, I`m grateful the most for this thing. Thank you warmane.

30-50 mins for 200-300 kills is a lot better than 3 boring smaller battlegrounds that last 10-15 mins each and bring 30-50 kills (and get you bored to death).
Either way the team with more brain and gear will always win, its just that the reward for winning is much greater in AV than in these smaller battlegrounds.

AV is the only bg where u can have challenge , big fights , tactic and SUPER FUN other small bg's has nothing NOTHING at all we just want to do 5 - 10 av's everyday and we can sleep well

honestly i dont see any reason to reduce the chance we get AV , if its as ppl requested ! then see who are those ppl who requested to reduce the AV because i am 100% sure they are the players who join 1 - 2 bg's daily and keep questing and playing PVE , or most likely low geared ppl who are trying to gear only
other ppl like us we only play on bg's we enjoy bg's we ****ing love AV we need AV we live for AV FOR **** SAKE

I am one of those who hold AV close to my heart, but being realistic is important, so lowering the number or AV battles is fair enough, but to lower them too much they practically don't exist is not ok.

It seems like AV is more popular with the PvE crowd. Instead of PvP it's more about grouping everyone into a ball and raid healing. Individual performance matters MUCH less in this type of BG so its understandable that many less able players might prefer a larger BG such as AV.

That's actually something no one can generalize.
A real PvPer that wants to prove his individual worth will do so in duels/2s/3s, the first being ridiculous but still more realistic than a battleground.
And about PvE/PvP population generalization you made, it's silly.
I will post my opinion. I loved Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin and disliked AV back when I was just learning about PvP and getting into it.
Now that I am into it for years, I find it a waste of time to run around more than actually fight as fight is the only thing I am interested in after clicking that enter button.
And lets face it, battlegrounds are usually faceroll for either of the teams, no real competitive PvP is present.
So why waste your / your premades time on ~40 kills per 15 minutes when you can get ~200 in 30 with every AV?
