It is possible, I believe, since was said such idea is being considered, but I hope on it not ever becoming enabled. I hate transmog.

1) Of course it is possible. (proven by Blackrock realm)
2) Hate transmog? Can't imagine why, lol... Even if it's implemented, you will still be able to choose whether to use it or not, but if you ask me...I hate that everyone looks the same. :P XMog would be fun.

"Mog would be fun" ... only if they make it plate - plate, mail - mail, cloth - cloth, etc. If we see priests in dk gear or palas in warlock items, that's ugly and pathetic.

Staff has said multiple times they aren't planning a server side transmog service for Icecrown, and that if they would eventually offer a transmog service, it would be a client-side thing (so only you will be able to see the changes). There are already third party services available that can do this at the moment if you want that though (for example 'Transmogrifaction 3.3.5'. Haven't tried it myself so can't say if it's any good)

I'm still playing on Retail, so I do know the effect it leaves. Novadays rarely anyone knows what the actual gear they're wearing looks like. If it's implemented, make it on user's side and don't make all of us look at it. I for one would never use transmog on WotLK. Want to sit in Dalaran in that gear feel free to. Want to make a screenie feel free to. You don't need transmog for that.
