As a lot of people know, it's really easy to completely dodge someone in an arena by logging Horde/Alliance and seeing where they are.
A suggestion to get around this; is to make it so that when a character is in an arena, it still says their location outside of the arena instead of in [arena name here]. An example of this is if a Horde player was in Durotar, doing /who of that player or adding it to your friends list would still say they are in Durotar, instead of an arena.
Also removing the /who [name of arena] would also stop people from dodging; or changing items to counter one another.
This would make arenas a lot more fair and make it very hard to dodge someone.
This is an excellent idea. I could list a few people that have obtained undeservedly high rating by avoiding the people that are actually better than them in order to match or even surpass the rating of the people that actually play every game irrespective of whether or not it is a win or a loss.
If you are in agreement but do not have anything to say I strongly recommend that you take the time to comment something so that staff members can see this.
MAYBE i don't want to lose 200-300 rating agains some guy who only know to play with healer, just because he donor full gear and can pwn me easily with SM? huh ...
Or some comp that is pretty much impossible or getting too much dmg and dont want to get frustareted just because u cant win this comp.. but yeh seems good idea
Good Idea and also like some of them self boosting in arena i know few people that got arena titles by self boosting with friends from virtus guild and few horde guilds thats why i stop playing arena and do pve . Arena system needs lots of attention and monitoring from gm`s but then again gms and staff got lots other work to do like they did so far good job btw i guess thats gonna be on they to do list :D
