What happens to the items deselected when Character trading

Hello, i was just wondering if you have like a BIS DK for example and you wanted to sell it on the market,however you are excluding some items and let's say the sale went successfully what happens to the items u deselected will it go away ? or what supposing that the items are donated...

If you sell character with equipment only then its inventory disappears when the character is sold.
