WotLK Auction house bot

Hello Warmane community and staff,

I made this thread after reporting a certain player for AH boting - with no result whatsoever. "We will look into your claims" *bullkaka*. Nothing has been done for about a month now and this guy has been allowed to shamelessly auction house bot and most likely farm bot as well. Only someone who treats the issue with utter disregard won't see the problem here. Problem is people actually farm mats for the crafts they put on the AH and simply don't have the time to track every single sale. What this guy does is stay in Darnassus almost 24/7 and occassionaly scan the Auction House every 30 or so minutes. Once scanned he removes any item that has been undercut, walks to the mailbox (exacly like a bot - same path, same behaviour) then walks back to the exact same spot next to the AH Master and doesnt move for another 30 minutes. I'm not sure if he's getting inside help or GM's are too dull to react accordingly but this is simply not fair to all the other people that work hard to make gold. This guy stays afk all day and makes more money than everyone else. Not to mention Im sure that he also farms with a bot but that's a topic for another thread. Im sick of reporting this guy. Additional information I can give upon observing this bot's behaviour is that he rebuffs every time his buffs expire, always has afk tag unless hes moving to the mailbox and back again, then goes afk targeting the AH master (at all times). His name is ....... and you can see him in Darnassus (icecrown Alliance faction) almost 24/7. If you're too lazy to look into the issue I can do it for you and submit screenshots or even make a video. After all Ive been observing this bot for months now.Reported him close to 10 times.

It might be difficult to prove that it's actually bot. From your description the only thing that could prove it is the movement path to and from mailbox. Everything else can be done by addons and does not have to be botting as long as the owner of the char does something himself to keep the char from getting logged out after 30 mins. On wotlk addons are able to scan auction house, post and cancel auctions and take items from mailbox on their own with no interaction from the player. And that's not botting since addon API allows such actions. So those actions can not be used as proof of botting.
