First of all, I'm terribly sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I've considered some and it seems to fit best here. It's not a guide, it's not specific to any realm, so General is what's left. Anyway...
As far as I know, while not impossible, it's not the easiest thing to gear up for pvp as a fresh 80, is it? If you simply jump into BGs, you aren't gonna farm loads of honor as you'll just get wrecked all the time in the Northrend greens/blues.
So the options are:
1. Get some gear from the easier dungeons (Heroics or Normals) - although that won't help you alot in PVP.
2. Try farming it the hard way in BGs with your green/blue equip - time consuming, innefective and you might lose your nerves.
3. Buying the 78level blue PVP set - Is this even worth it? As far as I know, you're better off even with HC gear. But don't take my word for it.
4. Reputation gear - also a bit time consuming, and I really don't know how good this gear is in PVP, after all, it has no ressilience.
5. World PVP - very time consuming probably, but has the potential to be the fastest way - of course, depending on a lot of factors.
Any thoughts, ideas? IMHO it's best to combine as many of these as possible, right? So you buy the PVP 78lvl set, do your reputation dailies, do a couple of battlegrounds as well as two or three Heroics and by the end of the week you're considerably dangerous in a BG. Am I right?
Also, I know there's a lot of guides for this type of questions, however, most of them are deleted or simply provide only the most trivial information, usually for the really fresh players new to WoW. I have experience, I just want know what's the best/fastest way. I simply hate the idea of doing battlegrounds, ruining fun for others because I'm incapable of killing anything at all.
As a person who normally enjoys PvP, I'm also kinda tired of being almost useless in BG's because I have to slowly grind a large amount of honor points. Sadly, gearing up for PvE is much easier in my opinion.
