I say that Warmane need to create Official Trade Chat in WoW, for tradings with characters. Becouse Global channel is such annoying with char sellers, about 50-50%. So if your chat window, for example, smallest, you see that of all 4 messages: 2 wow stuff, 2 traders. If biggest, you see about 40~ messages and 20 of them is usually spam. People want to find pve adventures, just talking, feel relaxed when look in chat window, but not spam WTB WTS BLABLABLA..... .
When im reading chat, im feel like in matrixa.

We still wouldn't be able to control it since players can write anything in any chat so even if there was a Character Trade channel, many would still write it in Global chat because there is more attention to that chat. Same for LFG channel - it is supposed to be channel to "LFG" but still everyone write Global chat.

Maybe add in the server announcements a "/join LFG to join the looking for group channel and get groups faster" like there is for the global one.

Still support the idea that the entire system needs to be looked at again, at least half of the spam is people wanting to trade OUTSIDE of the official system and everytime i've ever advertised to wts one of my toons i get the constant 'hey bro trade my account for yours?' nvm the ******ed price tag attached to most characters.
TLDR You could be making tons more money from the char trading system, and make more people happy with it.

Thydus, there is no way to look at the system again, because they would be unable to control and maintain it. If they'd create another global channel, it would be global v2.0 no matter what it would be called.

It's really just an educational thing. Most other private servers actually use the chat channels properly, rather than global being used for literally everything.
I'm not saying staff each channel. Just have some server broadcasts saying stuff like
"If you are looking for group, please use the /lfg channel"
"If you are looking to trade, please use the /trade channel"
etc.

As much as I'd love the spam to go away from global I know it wont happen since global is the most popular one of all.
Like 6 out of 10 times I open trade tab it's some random spam or just random talk about anything, trades are a rare thing there.

I know. That's why I suggested educational messages, rather than actual forms of control.
It's evident Warmane will not invest any staff energy on such trivial things like global chat moderation, regardless of the exposure it gets. Which is funny because much more of the player base is exposed to global as opposed to these forums and yet these forums receives quite a bit of moderator attention.
The only reason I bring this up again is because when you log into Warmane, and see the primary chat channel flooded with people spamming about scripting websites/selling characters outside of warmane's ineffectual system and other general misuse you get the impression the server is simply chaotic with no form of staff attention. If I was a new playing logging in now, I wouldn't be inclined to continue after seeing the state of global.
